In Berlin you find inspiration literally at every turn. Our practising group is looking forward to welcoming the curious, the experienced and skeptics. Once a month we meet for an agreed topic. This time: storytelling. Recently, I listened to Brené Brown, the well-known compassionate researcher. She was invited to the Oprah Winfrey show. Brene Brown emphasizes the importance of courage in her work. That’s what reminded me of the motto of our next practising group, where stories are concerned. We are surrounded by stories. They live in our words, our clothes, our gestures. Sometimes they are literally at your feet. What an adventure to give them space!
Mostly we are between 8 and 11 participants, which is a nice size. The environment is inspiring. We practice asking simple questions and just to listen. During a break, we enjoy homemade snacks and the talks continue.
